I am very grateful for the support I received from Cancer program. Last year when I went for my physical I asked dr if I could go for mammogram once in 3 yrs(due to cost of the exam with no health insurance), dr suggested I should get mammogram every year as my last one was cleared only after another sonogram test. I explained to dr that as a middle class family wife and mother of two college going kids, it seems there is no money for diagnostic tests. Every day I worry about paying bills, even grocery and gas takes toll due to rising cost. Everything is going up except salaries. Dr suggested and sent me to sign up for Cancer program. Since then I am supported by the program for mammograms, biopsy and checkups. I appreciate the staff coordination for the appointments and tests. I have no words to express my gratitude and I wish the program a huge success in every possible way. If I can be of any use ever, I would feel privileged.

I believe our paths in life are chosen although we may not always know which one to take.
I contacted the Cancer Services Program and was given two options, #1 was five minutes from my home, option #2 twenty minutes and two parkways away. I am thankful for the choice that I made for two reasons: 1) Dr. Lipari 2) Carmen.
Dr. Lipari took charge from the beginning of this medical journey and has remained a constant presence to date.
Carmen from our first meeting has displayed the highest level of professional that I have ever encountered in a medical setting. Her constant reassurance and prayer has provided me with a level of comfort during this difficult time. Her demeanor is consistent and filled with concern even when she was not feeling her best, she still pushed through and did her job.
I know now why option #2 was the place I was led to. Thank you.
